Janelle Monae: Pinball Wizard?
While listening to Janelle Monae‘s EP about sci-fi robot love-affair-gone-wrong something started nagging me about the track “Many Moons” (play it). Something about it seemed so familiar, so elusive deep in my childhood memories. Then, I finally got it.
I never knew this was the Pointer Sisters! Sesame Street was the best. Is it an homage? Was it on purpose? Subconscious? I think it must be by design. Share your opinion in the comments.

Its crazy how much of what we put into our children returns to them as adults! I think it is a fantastic homage that signifies and resonates! Yay! Janelle, yay! More, more…somebody should use the Cosby Show theme!
