My name is Michael, but some call me Mick. I like to take pictures, and some of the pictures I take become photographs. I listen to a lot of noise, some of which is called music. I take off on walks and sometimes hikes. You don’t know me, and I don’t know you.
When I was younger, much younger, I played a lot of video games. One of those video games was called Utopia where two island-states competed to develop a perfect civilization. While planting crops and building houses were important, it turned out that the most important tactic in the game was to send out your fishingboat and fish, fish, fish as much as you possibly could. Fishing brought in the only reliable wealth that you could control. Constant fishing resulted in enough wealth to carry out your chosen policies, benevolent or vicious as the wind blew. Fish equalled power.
I liked playing as the leader of the red island.
